We discovered some rare new-old-stock germanium transistors and were inspired to create our take on two classic fuzz pedals. We combined these iconic sounds with British-style enclosures used for several well-known vintage pedals from the 1960s. The result is an eye-catching design paired with unmistakable sounds!
VERDIGRIS:
We paired a new-old-stock SFT306 germanium transistor with a vintage BC108 in a Jordan Boss Tone circuit. The tone is creamy and thick with just the right amount of sizzle. It's over the top but maintains chord clarity and produces plenty of sustain. Verdigris is constructed using high-quality, through-hole components assembled on a thick-trace circuit board. The steel enclosure is powder coated in an emerald hammer-tone finish, complemented with a black and gold plate and vintage-style white lamp jewel light.
SINGLE FIRE:
We paired a new-old-stock SFT306 germanium transistor with a vintage BC108 in the classic Harmonic Percolator circuit. This combination of transistors provides the unmistakable unique distortion character of the original but has more bite and an upper midrange edge that distinguishes it from the original. Single Fire is constructed using high-quality, through-hole components assembled on a thick-trace circuit board. The steel enclosure is powder coated in an emerald hammer-tone finish, complemented with a black and gold plate and vintage-style white lamp jewel light.
