Q: What is your Return Policy?

A: All devices are built to order and all sales are final through this site.  We do not accept returns of perfectly functioning devices. We are a small operation, and our primary focus is creating and building devices. Our dealers have excellent return policies though. It is their focus to deal with sales, refunds, and exchanges. If you are unsure about an item please order from one of our dealers. Thank you!

Q: How do I register my product so it qualifies for your warranty?

A: You must fill out this registration form within 30 days of delivery. This registration is non-transferable.

Q: What does the warranty cover?

A: Recovery Effects warrants our devices to be free from defects in workmanship under normal use for 1 year, once registered. The warranty does not cover cosmetic defects, broken parts due to negligence, or damage due to running at improper power levels. However, we will do repairs for a reasonable fee. The customer is responsible for shipping fees both ways. This warranty is void if anyone unaffiliated with Recovery Effects has modified or repaired the device in any way. The warranty is non-transferable. Registration must occur within 30 days of receiving the device, without any exceptions.

Q: I need a repair. How does that work?

A: Registered products: You must Contact Us first to get an RMA number and return instructions.

Non-registered products: Contact us to get an RMA number and return instructions. Standard $75/hour bench rates apply.

Q: I just purchased my pedal through this site and I think it's broken, what do I do?

A:  All of our units are tested, and are in working order, before they are shipped. If you believe your device is defective, contact us immediately and we will troubleshoot with you to figure out what the problem might be. Often we can diagnose the issue without you having to send the device in. If, within 7 days of receiving your device, it is determined that the device requires repair due to a manufacturing defect caused by a faulty component, we will cover shipping both ways. After 7 days our standard repair policy applies (see above) and you will be responsible for all shipping costs. We want you to be happy with your new device, so be sure to contact us as soon as possible so we can take care of any issues right away!
