The ExMic Deluxe is a new old stock telephone that has been converted into a device for recording and performing. The handset is a microphone with a 1/4” jack. It plugs into the base, which has been converted into a preamp. Although the preamp was designed for the ExMic handset, you can plug guitar, bass, or synth into it for boosting or tone shaping. Use the handset and preamp together for eccentric lo-fi vocals. Use on drums as a unique and unconventional overhead mic. Place in the room for a strange and unusual ambient mic. The possibilities are limitless!
Designed and assembled in Seattle, Washington. The ExMic Deluxe operates on a standard Boss style 9vdc power supply, not included. Includes a mic clip that mounts on a standard mic stand, and a limited 1-year warranty, if registered within 30 days of purchase.
