Inspired by espionage devices of World War II and the Cold War, this plug-in transforms clean signals into something covert, unstable, and haunting. Think distant number stations, intercepted broadcasts, and fragile recordings pulled from the past.

Choose between two distinct noise and interference types and shape their intensity with the Exposure control, from subtle atmospheric grit to overwhelming signal collapse. Velocity and Focus work together to manage pitch stability, allowing sounds to drift, warble, or snap into uneasy focus. Shortwave excels at adding tension and character to simple sources, or completely dismantling a signal in ways no traditional fuzz or distortion can.

Shortwave captures the unpredictable, degraded charm of the hardware and places it directly inside your session, making it easy to dial in haunted textures, worn recordings, and unstable transmissions with just a few controls.
